The eleven haunting songs below about the witchcraft hysteria of Salem, came to me in dreams and visions: messages, I believe, from my ancestors who were victims of the witch hunt madness that besieged the area in 1692.

Almost all the accused were women. In the early woodcut on the right, the devil is even depicted as a woman.
